I’ve been working at Starbucks in my hometown now for almost 8 months but I’m going away to school in August. There is a starbucks about 6-10 minutes away from the university that I would love to transfer to.

Are there any special regulations about transferring, such as age and how long you’ve been working there? I’ll have been working there over a year when I want to transfer.

I don’t believe there are any regulations. When I worked for them I transferred with no problem. You just need to find a store that has an opening in the area your looking for.

I have all the ingredients, Starbucks coffee, starbucks classic syrup, and half n half. But when I make one, it just don’t taste the same. I’m not sure if I’m brewing the coffee wrong or what. If any one works at starbucks please, please let me know exactly how to do it. I know it can’t be too difficult or complicated, it’s just iced coffee, but the starbucks iced coffee is sooo good! But expensive! Lol thanks in advance for any input on this

It’s all in the type of coffee you have. Starbucks iced coffee is a blend called Terraza and it isn’t sold in stores (or anywhere that I know of). The closest thing to it is the Gazebo blend, which is only available during summer months. Some stores may have already run out of their supply by now.

To start off, the coffee is brewed double strength and then ‘doubled’ by adding ice. (one batch makes a total of 4 liters, 2 liters of coffee and ice added [thus, melted] to make 4 liters)

A grande iced coffee with milk contains four pumps (1 oz)classic syrup, coffee to the first green line, milk (or 1/2 n 1/2) to the second line, and then filled to the top with ice.

The biggest issue for you will be finding a roast of coffee that you like. Try to stay away from coffees described as ‘earthy’ or ’spicy’ and go towards ‘bright’ or ‘citrus’ notes.

I’m sure this might sound a bit confusing, but the coffee world has a lot more to it than most people think

Every morning before I go to work, I pick up a No Sugar Added Ice Blended & a pastry. However, I want to loose some weight, but I want to be able to still continue to pick up my drink, & a pastry as well. I want to continue enjoying a nice quick breakfast, so what’s the healthiest pastry from the Coffee Bean?

Any pastry you get will be full of calories, try a piece of fresh fruit.

We bought a house a year ago and lady had couple Coffee Bean trees, they sprouted all over and now we have tens of them, the only problem I do not know how to collect beans for coffee. I can not find anywhere any info about them. They do not have red berries, flowers are white with orange outline or something, they get green bean berry that has two beans in it and they get brown and fall of before I can get to them. Trees are small and do flower over and over constantly. Any ideas how to grow them and get coffee, anybody has same trees? I am in Florida.

I watched a show on coffee once and the thing I remember is that the best coffee grows in a cool, damp environment. Usually the mountains in South America (Brazil I think) and Jamaica. They picked the beans when they were a red color.

My guess is that the climate you live in isn’t allowing the beans to ripen slowly enough to catch them at that stage. Plus you have to roast them and grind them. Is it really worth all the work? I like coffee, but not that much!

I have tasted the nice Vietnamese coffee at Hanoi. Can anyone share with me where can i get the Vietnamese Coffee Bean (powder will be more convenient for me) and the fliter at Malaysia here? Penang and Sabah place will be my top priorities. Thanks!

i got one from vietnam but i m not selling. You can get it in mid valley.in a vietnam restaurant same floor with the cinema. i find the price quite expensive…..
